It may be hard to believe that many Australians experience food insecurity, yet the number of Australian households finding it difficult to afford fresh food on a weekly basis and seeking help from food charities is growing. Growing food gives us more control over accessing locally sourced, fresh and nutritious food.

I am a qualified horticulturist and a passionate gardener with over 20 years of trial, error and success in growing fruits and vegetables. Combined with my love of composting and chickens, I would like to help others establish their patch of home-grown produce.
