Calling all budding gardeners aged between 4 and 12 to get into planting seeds and seedlings at FoodLab Sydney’s kitchen garden. Participants will learn:

• How to handle seeds and seedlings

• At what depth different seeds should be planted

• How to space different types of vegetable seeds and seedlings

• How to transplant seedlings to their permanent growing space in the garden

• Why it’s important to preserve seeds and how to keep them viable
